On August 17th 2023 Golden Age had a Cochon de lait for the residents. It was a competition for all of PMC Nursing Homes. Golden Age won first place. The residents enjoyed food from around Louisiana, including a roasted pig,f ried fish, pastalaya, and many more. Entertainment was provided by Hot Sauce Cajun band and the Sugar Snappers performed line dancing. The staff of Golden Age would like to give a big thanks to Anthony and Taylor from Elite Power team for cooking the pastalaya, and to everyone who pitched in.
