The following students earned all 10 ASE certifications offered and are the first students to do so in the history of the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center. These students earned 3 hours of high school credit in Automotive Service Technician I, the S/P2 Mechanical Safety and Pollution Certification, and all 10 ASE certifications which are Automobile Service Technology, Automatic Transmission and Transaxle, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Heat and Air Conditioning, Maintenance and Light Repair, Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Steering and Suspension. Instructors at the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center are leaders from their industry fields who are dedicated to the instruction of the students and provide the students with many practical opportunities to better their skills and become certified so that they will be workforce-ready and productive citizens of Livingston Parish.
