The first change people see when they visit Live Oak Junior High is the new brick façade, archways and wrought iron fencing that wrap around the front of campus.

All 36 classrooms at Live Oak Junior High received a new whiteboard and a Surface Pro, an interactive portable computer that gives teachers greater flexibility in the classroom.

A new tree was planted at Live Oak Junior High to replace the dead oak tree that was taken down during renovations. The tree, which will be named “Eagle Pride 2,” was donated by Kevin and Claudette Gleason, their children Kevin and Kaylee, John Harvey, and Harrison Jones.
