Bob and Bill McDowell’s boat, dubbed the “TARC Ness Monster” in honor of TARC, a Hammond-based nonprofit organization that provides services for children and adults with disabilities in the Florida parishes, was the winner of the Tickfaw River Regatta’s “Best in Show” boat on Saturday, July 7. All proceeds from the fundraiser went to TARC.
