Performing isn’t as easy as it once was for Ernest Scott. A life-threatening car accident in December 2015 resulted in two operations, each marked by a scar on his neck. Days of pain follow every performance, starting from his head and neck down through his torso, sometimes as far as his legs. But he vows to always put on a show, no matter how much pain he’s in.

Two weeks later on Feb. 16, he’ll perform at Double D Daiquiris in Denham Springs, a venue he sings at every six weeks, followed by gigs at Sarita's Grill & Cantina in Maurepas (Feb. 22) and Denham Springs (Feb. 24).
