Denham Springs Mayor Gerard Landry said two LSU geologists visited Spring Park last weekend to search for the original spring that, at one time, came to the surface at the base of the low-lying ridge in the park’s wooded area. Once the spring is found, the plan hope is to make it a central focus of the park.
